Association of Filmmakers of Bosnia and Herzegovina in collaboration with Sarajevo Film Festival is organizing the 5th edition of B&H Film Festival which will be held at the Cinema City Multiplex, cinema 5, from 24th to 31st July as one of the official Sarajevo Film Festival programmes.
The aim of the festival is to showcase entire film production in our country from 2009 and 2010. This year's edition will gather 30 titles: 6 feature films, 10 documentaries, 12 short and animated films and one special screening of BURIED LAND, film by Stevena Eastwooda and Geoffrey Alan Rhodesa . The festival is organized in collaboration with Sarajevo Cinema Fund, Ministry of Civil Affairs of B&H and USA Embassy in B&H.
Festival will gather ove 100 filmmakers from entire Bosnia and Herzegovine and memebers of Association of Filmmakers of B&H who will present thier films to Sarajevo Film Festival audiences. On the 24th July Association will host a reception celebrating BH Film Programme and annual „Ivica Matić“ Award, the only professional award for filmmakers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This year the award receipients are set worker Aziz Arnautović who has worked on sets of over 100 Bosnian productions and director Vefik Hadžismajlović. The ceremony will kick off with a cult short documentary film TWO LAWS directed in 1969 by the awarded director.
